This is VC Minute, quick advice to help startup founders fundraise better.
VC Minute is quick and fun fundraising advice for startup founders. With short episodes—2 minutes on average—released every workday, founders can get insight and guidance into the dynamics of seed stage venture financing.
Venture capitalists navigate pitches and negotiate investments every day, but for founders it’s not their main focus. For many founders, it’s their first time fundraising and though they may have achieved success in other areas of business, fundraising is a practice unlike anything they’ve done before.
VC Minute was created to help founders close this gap. The advice is focused primarily on pre-seed and seed stage startups outside of the Bay Area.
Rich Maloy has coached many founders on their fundraising strategies and developed a number of frameworks to help founders prepare for and ultimately close their funding rounds, so they can get back to building.
Rich Maloy is the Managing Partner at SpringTime Ventures. With 25 years of experience and 11 years in the startup ecosystem, he’s applied his experience from sales, finance, and venture investing to help startup founders fundraise better.
